Ensures all required designs and drawings are completed and released to Production on time - Directs, reviews and approves product designs and changes - Reviews designs prior to releasing to Production Provides technical advice to customer’s responses. Recommends cost effective design improvements or new product design that will meet customer requirements and expectations - Ensures that the technical specifications and standards are maintained - Analyzes technology and resource need in order to plan and assess the feasibility of projects Drives for continuous improvement in the engineering process to ensure excellent and speedy customer service Develops and implements standard operating process and procedures for all engineering activities Ensures regular, complete and accurate communication with staff to keep them abreast of directions and targets of the Company Partners with other departments/units through seamless interface and by directing, guiding and leading the implementation of programs that are aligned with business directions and priorities of the company Support and execute all manufacturing engineering (ME) team projects intended for global standardization, cost reduction and sustaining of newly released products

Experience with sheet metal, plastics, heating, and cooling equipment. Good knowledge of electrical safety applied in product design.
